BEAVERS (6–8)

Beavers is where the adventure really begins.

For children aged 6 to 8, Beavers offers a lively programme full of creativity, exploration, and teamwork. Every week brings something new, whether indoors or outdoors.

What Beavers Do

Cooking simple recipes
Nature walks and outdoor games
Creative challenges and crafts
Learning basic skills
Earning badges and awards

Beavers encourages young people to try new things, make friends, and start building the confidence they’ll carry with them through Cubs and Scouts.

Meeting Times

We run two Beavers groups, one on Thursday and the other on Friday. Both groups meet from 18:00-19:00.

Uniform & Badge Placement

Beaver uniform consists of a blue sweatshirt with your badges sewn on and a coloured scarf or 'necker’ to represent our group. There are lots of other optional accessories you can wear such as hats, hoodies, navy blue trousers or shorts, if you’d like to.
